Hey there, I’m Alexa... and NO, not that “ALEXA, play Despacito.” I’m a real person! I’d love to take a few moments to tell you a little bit about myself since this is my portfolio, after all.
I have an academic background in media studies, so I must know a thing or two about what I’m doing, right? I started my journey in media studies back in 2019, and three years later, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree. I also have a minor in branding, which means I understand how important branding is for companies—and how to make them shine bright like a diamond.
I’m a cinema enthusiast at heart, drawing much of my inspiration from films, photojournalism, and just everyday life. I’m the person who analyzes every design I come across—even something as simple as a can of beans at the store. I love noticing moments that could make great photographs. I often spot potential scenes, but instead of capturing them with a camera, I "take a picture" with my eyes and let them exist as they are.
When it comes to work, though, I take things SERIOUSLY. I care a lot about the projects I work on and always put my heart into creating meticulously crafted content. My goal is to make sure my clients are happy with the final result. But let’s be honest, why should I be SO serious and overly formal. There is no point for a creative person to be that serious.
I’ve been a full in-house content creator for an events and marketing company for the past 3 years, working on everything from graphic design to photography and videography. I’ve also created content for several other companies along the way.
